no turning back
If you could change anything in your life...what would that be? Now once you have that thing changed...what do you think would make your life better? I know we all would have something in mind. But did you ever think about the outcome? Such as doing totally without what you have right now? Maybe that job, person, place or thing? Let's say you enjoy your job but not the area you live in. Or your house is too small. Better yet, you don’t like your neighbors. If all that is changed then nothing would be as it is.... NOTHING! So, you cannot just change one thing because everything else will be affected as well. What if you make a wish and that one thing disappears. Guess what? Most likely everything else changes too! What I am trying to convey is that all of life serves a greater purpose. We can move forward with what we have and believe it is a divine plan. I am not saying to remain in a situation where abuse or harm is being done to you. No! You get yourself to a safe haven. I am talking about you look at your life and wished you married your high school sweetheart. Or why didn't you get the job you desired. That move to another state was a big mistake. The list could be endless! But just think you would not have the beautiful kids and grandkids, or the best friend you made, the new business you started, the gorgeous sunset you have ever seen, etc... Life is a MYSTERY! Every single thing we do, say, and think has been placed in our lives for a reason. Sometimes those reasons don’t make sense to us. The questions linger in our heads and hearts with no answers in sight. We just need to trust that there are no mistakes in how our life has turned out. The choices we made at that time served us. Marrying the toxic person, getting pregnant young, settling for a low paying job, buying the crappy house, etc... Each decision we have made played a part for later in life. We cannot go back in time and change anything. But we can go forward with a grateful heart and learn the lessons as we grow. So don’t wish for something different than what you have. Because if the circumstances were different, you would be missing out on a lot. Now you can take what you have and evolve with it. Nothing wrong with wanting to make a better life for yourself. However, don’t wish it was all different. Think about all the good things that came out of your life. Go ahead and make the changes to level up and expand. Right here and right now is all that truly counts. What is the greatest thing you have received in your life? I will go first; my kids are my greatest gifts and grand kids. Let me tell you, I have gone through hell and back! But I would not change anything I have endured because being a mom/nana is the best! Please share your thoughts on this...
