peace

PEACE. Who doesn't want peace? A time of solitude with your heart. When you tell yourself that you are not letting your mind take the reins. That in this moment of stillness, you will let your heart be the driver. How many times have you positioned yourself in such a way? Or do you let the outside noise immerse itself in your every day? I don't believe many people really go deep within. I mean to the very essence of self. The parts of you that stay hidden in the shadows. The parts of you that don't surface for fear of what emerges. We all have those shadows lingering and beckoning to us. What if we just face them head on and see what they want. Instead of shoving them down every time they want to come up for air. Because guess what? Those parts of us are not going to go away until they are dealt with. Many times, we wonder why there is always something niggling at us. You just cannot get completely settled in your being. Your life may be peachy, and you think nah I am good. I cleared all the cobwebs that needed cleaning up. But yet, you still have this "off" feeling. You ever wonder what that is? I don't think anyone can have true peace till they conquer those "off" feelings. There is a reason why they are still toying with us. Our bodies signal to us when there is an upset in our spirit. It's like a GPS signal telling us to recalibrate. There needs to be a shift in our inner being to be fully self-aware. To me, when you clear out the old dusty thing harboring deep within, you can move more freely in life. So, it is of extreme importance to take the time to do the deep dive. To spend time in quiet solitude and reflect upon your entire existence. Just sit there in dead silence and let your heart speak to you. NOT your mind. Your heart is the true benefactor of your spiritual being. The mind will replay all the stories and embellish all the reasons why things happened like they did. But your heart will be a clear signal to lead you into truth. Yes, that truth may be painful and cause you to want to shut it down. However, it is not to hurt you, but to only expand your self awareness. To open you up in ways you never thought possible. It's never a pleasant experience to pull out thorns. But it makes it worse to keep them anchored and let them fester. If peace is what you truly desire, then be prepared for a new version of you. A version of you that did the work and ready to take on what lies ahead. You will have a peace that you never thought was possible. A peace that does surpass all understanding on all levels. A peace that envelopes and loves you deeper than you ever imagined. That peace is YOU! Are you ready to have unquenchable peace?
