DOORS

DOORS. Have you ever wondered why certain doors close? The doors that you wanted to be open so bad. There were doors that you wished upon for years to open. Doors that you stood before and hoped, prayed, and begged to open. But did you ever think that perhaps you were being divinely protected? If those doors were open, you would be sabotaged in some way. Or someone or something would mislead you. That the closed door or doors had served a greater purpose. Many times, we have no idea to why these doors remain closed. Sometimes we find out later what the reason was. Regardless of whatever it is, if we just stay steady and know everything happens for a reason. So many times, our ego rises up and wants to kick in and damage the door. But what if we just let it be? You do know that what is meant for you will not pass you by. It will keep resurfacing again and again. We just have to align with whatever it is to receive it. What we desire... desires us. However, we need to let go and let the Universe work; it's magic. If you have read anyone of my blogs, you know I believe in Universal laws. You can call it whatever resonates with you... God, higher power, divine source, greater being, creator, etc... We all have our own beliefs and what rings true for us. When there is something or someone you truly want and the Universe says no... The door will be closed. It may open if we keep pushing and prying on it. However, you may regret doing so because a lesson may come from it. In my own experiences, I have pried open closed doors and soon saw why it was shut. A lesson I needed to learn had popped up and it was not fun. We have to ask ourselves why are we wanting that person or thing? Is it going to make our lives better? What benefit will we gain from having it? We just need to trust that closed doors are for a greater reason than we cannot fathom. Our lives would be peaceful and stable in the letting go of whatever it is. Again, I learned the hardest way! My gosh! So many times, I kept repeating the same lesson repeatedly. Until one day, I surrendered to the Universe and said I am letting it go. Go ahead and redirect me in the way that serves me. Remove what no longer benefits me in any way. It was not easy to just have faith and step into the unknown. I have jumped off a cliff with no parachute on several occasions. I didn't know if I would land on my head or my feet! But I did it anyway and let me tell you how exhilarating it is! I stopped trying to control every arena in my life and trust in the process. It hasn't been easy because my ego wants to take center stage. You know the ego wants to call all the shots and direct your every move. Now the ego is not bad. It is there to protect us from harm and past incidents. But we need to know when to let the ego have some spotlight. When you heal yourself and become more self-aware, you will know how to handle your ego. There are steps you need to take to become fully sufficient in letting go. This isn't something you just do overnight. Oh no, it takes patience and time to put the Universe in the driver's seat. I wished it was easy to say, "ok, I am done taking the reins... here you go Universe".  It had taken me years to actually understand and apply this principle. I mean all of this "stuff" was very new to me. I went through the wringer to be where I am today. There was no mentor or anyone to hold my hand. I was always curious about why things transpired in my life as they did. Then step by step, day by day, week by week, year by year... I transformed. It was a long lengthy process, and I compared it to a butterfly going through metamorphosis. It was so worth it in the end. To emerge as resilient and stronger to take on whatever comes your way. I know I took the closed doors to a whole new level, but all of this entwines together. To let go and surrender everything to the Universe is not easy. But once you do... you will embark on a journey that will be unforgettable. Just like a butterfly leaving its cocoon for the first time.
